So, My Hair.

I might've changed it again. It wasn't that I was unhappy with how my hair looked - I'd gotten used to it. But then I was doing something and I came across the exact colour I'd wanted. And the rest is history.

I actually went to the hairdressers this time though. Why? I texted Best Friend Georgia and was like 'THIS is what I want,' and she was like 'Well, it'll really suit you but you're actually going to have to get your hair lightened, so you're actually going to have to go into a salon.'

So I went to a salon, spent an extortionate amount (I was there for a really long time though. So, I can kind of understand), and now have luscious copper locks.

BEHOLD, THE RED (or orange)

I just really, really like it. The only problem is that now I can't be lazy about my hair - I actually have to be on top of colour maintenance. Totally worth it though!

So, A Change in Hair.

I know this will be of little interest to most readers, but I'm going to write about it anyway. I changed my hair. I want to say again, but not really. It wasn't the cut this time round. Instead, the colour.

I'd been thinking about going (more) red for a while. I wasn't exactly sure how red, just *red*. The other day, I was in Priceline and saw that a colour I'd been considering was on special. "Screw it," I thought, and here we are.

Introducing: Very, very red hair.
I'm still not used to it. It's like there's a scale, and I keep veering towards the side of utter hatred, and then back to thinking it's ok. It wasn't exactly what I had wanted from the package. I'd wanted a more orange-red, than red-red, and it to be lighter. Oh well. It was a DIY. I don't know what I expected.

So, my aim for the next six to eight weeks is to embrace it. It might not be the colour I wanted, but I can make it work. Confidence is key, and all that. Right?
